EUROPE AND SLASH IN MONTEVIDEO
The Swedish band Europe will be in Montevideo: the group’s official site confirmed that they would be playing at Teatro de Verano on October 2nd. Slash, Guns'n'Roses and Velvet Revolver’s guitar player will arrive a few days later on 13th November and will be playing at Velódromo.
Europe is one of the most emblematic bands of the 80’s. Their record “the final countdown”, which sold millions of copies around the world, has some of the most remembered hits of the decade.
For those nostalgic about those times and fans of the band which has changed its then glamorous sound to a harder rock style, we have good news: the group, which is still led by Joey Tempest, will be playing in Montevideo on October 2nd
In 2009, Europe was one of the supposed confirmed artists for the Concert for Peace and Tolerance which was never actually held.
Added to the arrival of Europe, the news of Slash ex Guns'n'Roses and Velvet Revolver Guitarist. The Les Paul player will be presenting his show at Velodromo Municipal on 13th November with his band The Conspirators (Miles Kennedy voice, Todd Kerns bass and Brent Fitz drums).
