Wedding planning kicks off

Uruguayan footballer Diego Forlan announced via twitter that he was getting married to his girlfriend Argentinian model Zaira Nara. The announcement was made in the midst of an “expectation campaign” through the social network

“We’re getting married” announced Zaira, a message that was retweeted by the footballer.

 There had been rumours of the wedding for some time time. In March 2010 Zaira came out to deny rumours of a possible wedding that had been  circuliting around both costs of Río de la Plata.
Last month in an interview with Luz magazine, Zaira spoke about her reltationship with Forlan and stated that both of them dreamed of having a family even though their professional activities  currently kept them very busy.

“When we meet up with Diego it’s super calculated. With my planner in hand we start seeing what days we can have a moment to ourselves, and I try to move my work around that. He can’t ask for a championship to be moved and he can’t be absent! So there are times when I’m looking up fixtures online so I can travel and see him” claimed the model.

She also claimed she didn’t feel ready to be a mother even though Forlan had spoken of the possibility on more than one occasion.

The couple is currently living in an apartment in Madrid, “I had always said that I would move in with someone only when I got married, but the circumstances were different and now I have no choice! We still dream about having a house  to form our family though” said the Charrua’s girlfriend.
